Genial talents, real ones are few and far between. People tend to have to sweat buckets to even come near seeing the taillights of Tommy Womack as he speeds into the distance. True, he has had a few wrecks and setbacks in his career but he is the real deal. When I listen to Tommy I think, this man has it. Talent with a capitol T. On the occasions I have seen him with his recording buddy in Daddy Tommy hold his own and sometimes more; for those among you who know Will Kimbrough and his track record know that says it all.
